Une petite journée facile aujourd'hui...rien dans les plans...vraiment une journée de repos avant le début de la grande course...le tout a débuté vers 8 h 30 avec une grande marche sur la rive de la rivière Mekong...une rivière avec un passé rempli d'histoire pour l'Indochine. De l'autre coté de la rivière, la Thaïlande...il fait déjà 30 Celsius...on n'est pas en Ontario ici...la bière, on en sert ici à 9 h le matin...pas de la petite bière non plus...grosse bière à $2.50...c'est comme ils veulent que tu en prennes 2...le Sherpa travaille pas trop fort...problèmes de confiance ou de training...après avoir pris possession de une des caméras, elle a perdu un des couvert protecteur de lentilles...va falloir rebâtir la confiance...ça pourrait être long...
Today we take it easy...it's our day of rest before we start the great adventure race...nothing planned....we started with long walk on the side of the Mekong river...a great river with a long and rich past...Thailand on the other side...at 9 AM it's already 30 degrees...hot and muggy, perfect temperature for a beer...or two...here they don't mess with the puck, a large Beer Lao is $2.50...I know my visa is good for 5 days, but at that price, an extension seems warranted...and the beer is pretty good...definitely no need to buy imported...the Sherpa didn't work too hard this morning...lack of self confidence...had the camera for 10 minutes yesterday and she managed to loose the lens cap...she tells me to use the same technique that our friends, Rob, used during his safari in Africa...tie a little rope to the cap...I had to tell her that real photographers don't use strings on their caps...
